Schoolkids Bonus Payments
The final School Kids Bonus payment of up to $215 per primary school student and up to $428 per secondary student will be paid into eligible parents' bank accounts between the 1st and 18th July. These payments are provided to help with educational expenses such as camps, excursions, curriculum (e.g. Stomp Dance), student requisites, uniforms etc. This is the last time parents will receive this payment.
If you currently have a payment plan or any outstanding fees, you might wish to use this payment to help finalise these. You may also choose to utilise some of these funds to pay for Stomp Dance classes which are a compulsory part of the curriculum and take place in Term 3. As families will not receive any financial assistance (other than the CSEF) at the beginning of next year, you may wish to consider making an advance payment on next year's fees as this will reduce financial pressures at the end of this year or beginning of next year. You can speak with Mary Graham at the school office to discuss how to do this.
