WELCOME BACK!

WELCOME BACK!

We are delighted to have everyone back at school for the start of another year. It is great to see and greet the smiling faces of both students and parents after the long break. The school is looking refreshed with a new look, Duff Street yard improvement, air conditioning installed in the middle school (Area One) and painting completed in the library area. Thank you to all parents for preparing your children so well for school. Our first couple of days have illustrated our aim of a quiet, orderly learning environment.

CHANGES

There are always changes being made and this year we have made a significant change in the way our students are organised.

PREPS – AREA 2

JUNIOR SCHOOL (Years 1/2) – AREA 4

MIDDLE SCHOOL (Years 3/4) – AREA 1

SENIOR SCHOOL (Years 5/6) – AREA 3

The grade that your student is in will be identified by the year level first and then the teachers Christian name and surname. Examples are outlined below:

PIH – Prep Mrs Hagen

JKW – Year 1/2 Ms K Wynen

MMV – Year 3/4 Mrs Van De Hoef

SMS – Year 5/5 Mrs Schofield

We hope that this makes it easier for you to identify where your child is situated in the school. I will send a copy of the school map next week to show all parents where everyone is situated.

NEW STAFF

We have two new staff members that have been appointed and two returning members of staff.

NEW

Ms Cleasby Jones - Year 1/2 (replacing Mrs Leonard on leave)
